Jacob Agyekum is a Research Scientist at the Water Research Institute of the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR-WRI) in Accra. He holds a PhD in Meteorology and Climate Science from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) under the GCRF African SWIFT (Science for Weather Information and Forecasting Techniques) Project.

Jacob is the lead for research and projects in the areas of climate, meteorology and hydro-climatology at the CSIR-WRI. His research interests are in Climate Modeling, Machine Learning, and Climate Change impacts on Health.
